After tons of teasers and comparisons, Nokia finally, officially announced the Nokia Lumia 928, often rumoured to be the next Lumia flagship. However, the device is more of a upgrade to the last flagship, Nokia Lumia 20 than an actual ‘next flagship model’. Why do we say so? Read on to find out.

Nokia made it clear that the Lumia 928 is a phone that mainly focuses on the camera and video-shooting abilities. More than features, software or even specifications, Nokia grabbed every opportunity to promote the camera of Nokia Lumia 928. And with a valid cause. The Lumia 928 comes with a 8 MP rear end snapper with Carl Zeiss optics (obviously) and a Xenon flash. But more on that later.

On the specifications front, there are hardly any differences between the Nokia Lumia 928 and Nokia Lumia 920. The form of Nokia Lumia 928 is slightly different and definitely better than the predecessor. The Lumia 928 comes with an almost severe design with sharply curved edges and a flat front. The back of the phone is slightly curves to give a better grip. Overall, the design is an eye-pleaser and a pleasant upgrade.

The phone comes with a 4.5-inch AMOLED capacitive display with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution. Just like the Lumia 920, the Nokia Lumia 928 display comes with  PureMotion HD and ClearBlack display. The phone runs on the Windows 8 platform as part of the Lumia series.
