It turns out that the LG Nexus 5 will be hitting T-Mobile in the US early. Today, in fact, which comes almost a week ahead of what some leaks suggested.
The Nexus 5 on T-Mobile's network isn't quite the same bargain as it is on the Play Store. The carrier asks for either $449.99 or $41.99 up front and 24 month $17 payments subsequently, which adds up to the same total cost. If you opt for the leasing option you'll need to sign up for contract with T-Mo but you can opt out at any time, after you've paid the device in full.
Perhaps the only reason to go to T-Mobile for the Nexus 5 is if you are in a hurry. Google Play store is really unable to catch up with demand, while the carrier can supply you a device now.
Meanwhile Verizon has started selling the 5" BlackBerry Z30 exclusively, as expected. The device has a rather over the top price of $199.99 with a two year deal. There's also a month to month option with a $549.99 upfront cost.
