CHENNAI: Audi the German luxury car manufacturer, announced that it received 125 bookings for the Audi Q3 S Edition on the day of its launch. This continues the success story of the hugely popular Audi Q3, which received 500 bookings within 5 days of its launch in June 2012. The innovative online booking process introduced by Audi has contributed to this debut by giving Audi enthusiasts across the country an opportunity to book their favorite SUV online.
Audi introduced the Audi Q3 S Edition Monday. A sporty version of its bestselling SUV, the Q3 S Edition was unveiled at the opening of the company's third luxury car showroom, Audi Delhi Central in one of the most prominent locations in New Delhi. Breaking ground in a new market segment, the Audi Q3 S Edition is priced at Rs 24,99,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi) and will be available at all Audi dealerships across India from the end of August.
Audi, on Monday also announced the launch of Audi Club India, a first of its kind initiative in the luxury car industry in India. An exclusive 'Audi owners only' community, Audi Club India is designed as a platform for Audi customers to come together, interact with like-minded individuals and enjoy a host of benefits. Michael Perschke, head of Audi India, inducted three honorary members into the Audi Club - India's leading lady golfer, Sharmila Nicollet, former captain of the Indian football team, Baichung Bhutia and Audi India race talent, Aditya Patel.
