Now get Sense 5 on your Galaxy S3 !!

When buying a smartphone, it's not just about looks and the actual hardware device. The look and feel of the user interface is also an important factor for many. Anyone who has bought a Galaxy S3, but prefers the quite popular HTC Sense 5 visuals over Samsung's TouchWiz interface, can now finally get what they have secretly been hoping for.

Give your pristine Galaxy S3 a darker side with the HTC Sense 5 UI.
The XDA Developers have struck again! A new custom firmware can now bring Sense 5 to your Galaxy S3. The HTC One firmware on Android 4.1.2 is used as a basis, so you will have to live without any 4.2-specific features if you flash this ROM. To make it clear: This isn't merely a visual theme, but an actual ROM. It is still a work in progress from the developer community, in beta stage only, so not yet perfect.

Important: until the software is in alpha stage, there will be some vigorous work done to it. In fact, there was a call out to all developers in the XDA Developers forum to participate in the work, so a 100 percent functional version should be ready soon. This means that we should soon see a stable HTC Sense 5 interface available for the Galaxy S3 for everyone.

Techys who want to help get the UI to this user-ready stage can check out the XDA Developers site. There is more detailed information available about the ROM there. Sense 5 would definitely have the predominantly very well behaved Galaxy S3 acting more serious and "dangerous." What do you think of the idea?
