Zen had gone official with its Ultrafone 701 HD in India, and the company has now finally started selling the Android smartphone tagged at a price of Rs. 11,999. Equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen on its front, this new handset bears a number of features that pit it directly against the likes of other important players such as the Karbonn S2 Titanium and the Micromax Canvas HD which too are low-cost offerings.
Snapdeal seems to be the only online retailer offering the Ultrafone 701 HD at the moment. Although Infibeam has it listed in its catalog, it still bears a ‘Coming Soon’ tag alongside it. Adopting the standard approach for the country’s market, the company has granted the device with a dual SIM attribute, with one of the two slots possessing support for 3G and the other, for 2G. Its package contents include a free flip cover as well as an additional back panel.
A 2000mAh battery also finds its way into the device, enabling it to dish out 8 hours of talktime on a single complete charge. As mentioned above, the Zen Ultrafone 701 HD can be bought by interested parties in India through Snapdeal at a price of Rs. 11,999.
