Texas: In the recent times, the number of mobiles running on dual core and quad core processors are increasing. In Indian market, Micromax A116 mobile phone witnessed huge success by offering quad core range specs at affordable prices. In international market, Samsung Galaxy Grand which is a dual core mobile is reported to be doing good sales. Lately, Acer has also released a smart phone which runs on quad core enabled mobile phone. Let us compare Micromax A116 and Acer Liquid E2 mobiles since both of them have quad core processors.
Hardware: Micromax A116 Canvas HD mobile phone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor. It has been provided with MTK MT 6589 chipset and is having Power VR SGX544 graphics processing unit. On the other hand, recently announced Liquid E2 mobile from Acer is said to be powered by 1.2 Ghz quad core Cortex A7 processor and is provided with MTK 6589 chipset. It is having Power VR SGX 544 MP as graphics processing unit. Hence in this regard, both the mobiles are very much similar.
Camera: Acer provides 8 megapixels resolution camera on the rear side of Liquid E2 mobile. On its front side, we can find 2 megapixels resolution camera. Even Micromax A116 Canvas HD mobile phone is provided with exactly same camera specs. It has got 8 megapixels resolution camera on the rear side and 2 megapixels resolution camera on the front side. Hence both the mobiles score same points in this aspect.
Display: Coming to the aspect of display, Micromax A116 Canvas HD is having 5 inches screen size and display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It has got IPS LCD type of screen and 294 ppi pixels density. On the other hand, Acer Liquid E2 mobile is provided with 4.5 inches screen size and is having display resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and hence its pixels density is 245 ppi.
